Wow that's a tough one... We'll keep you in our prayers. As far as what you should do? I say proceed forward with treatment and continue to try and get the water park to pay. That employee should have been paying attention. If you get bad publicity on them, and a good lawyer, they will be more willing to comply. They should at least pay for the surgery and physical therapy till he's better. Good luck!
